SPACE Teams

We are excited to continue the SPACE TEAM program at Carillon.

For four Wednesdays this spring from 8:45-9:15am, all Comets will participate in Enrichment Clusters based on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, or Math (STEAM) with their homeroom classroom. These clusters will be known as "SPACE TEAMS" (Students Pursuing Academic Excellence through Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, and Science). The Space Teams will be led by our Carillon teachers, and other staff members will be supporting as well. A Project Showcase will be presented to the parents virtually after SPACE TEAMS concludes each semester. Some students are also given the opportunity to meet with clubs during this special enrichment time.

This program is designed to provide school-wide enrichment for every Carillon student. The concept of school-wide enrichment has been widely researched and implemented across the United States by Dr. Joseph Renzulli. The program will provide a broad range of learning experiences for all students, focusing on high levels of engagement and experiences to stimulate each child's interest, learning style, and preferred method of expression.
